House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other U.S. lawmakers were in Poland Monday after making a trip to Kyiv to see the war-torn destruction in Ukraine firsthand.
The delegation met with the leaders of both countries showing the world that us is to help Ukraine and against Russia.
The visit comes two days after President Joe Biden asked Congress to approve a $33 billion package to send over to Ukraine.
Political commentator Armstrong Williams says Pelosi’s trip and Biden’s request for aid are part of a political play that the Democratic party is making as the midterms approach.
