The Chicago Bears have looked awful today versus the Buffalo Bills. The defense allowed scoring drives more than the Bears saw first downs in the first quarter. The defense has been bad, the offense has been bad and even the special teams has been bad. All of that said, Rodney Adams might have proved to be the lone bright spot on the offense today.
As Andy Dalton struggled to consistently do anything with the offense (Matt Nagy should look in the mirror too), at least the Chicago Bears saw another great performance from one of their wide receivers. Rodney Adams has been a name thrown around during training camp often this offseason. He has been making plays in camp, he was a stand-out in the first preseason game versus the Dolphins and now he’s been the only positive for the Bears thus far today.
Rodney Adams should be a lock to make the Chicago Bears final roster
Last week, Adams led the team with 57 receiving yards on four catches. Today, Adams was the only bright spot with a 73-yard touchdown grab that was a very contested catch. This was not his only contested catch on the day either. Adams has two catches for 82 yards and the touchdown.
