Seattle (Wash.) Rainier Beach 2022 offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr.has his final official visit set for this weekend. Conerly remains the highest rated uncommitted prospect in the class of 2022 and has a top six of Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC and Washington. He has taken four official visits, to Michigan, Miami, Oklahoma and Oregon.
And this weekend, Conerly has that one more official visit to take when he takes that fifth and final official visit to USC. He’ll leave for USC tonight, a school he’s taken numerous unofficial visits. Earlier this week, Conerly set his announcement date and time for Friday, April 8th at 6 p.m. (PST) in an announcement that will be streamed on CBS Sports HQ.
Conerly took his first official visit back in September, the weekend of the 10-12th, to Michigan. He then used two official visits in January, tripping to Oklahoma the weekend of January 15th before concluding the month with a visit to Miami the weekend of January 28th. The February dead period allowed Conerly to focus on basketball for Rainier Beach, which finished as the state runner-up.
Conerly didn’t schedule any officials for that weekend but was able to squeeze in the visit to Washington for an unofficial before returning to the road to visit Oregon in mid-March. In January, he hosted in-home visits with all six of his finalists, including the head coaches, sandwiching them around his two official visits plus basketball that month.
