After a two-game homestand, the Northwestern Wildcats will be on the road. Northwestern and the Wisconsin Badgers will face off in a Big Ten battle at noon ET Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin should still be feeling good after a victory, while the Wildcats will be looking to get back in the win column.
Northwestern was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap last week as they fell 17-12 to the Iowa Hawkeyes. QB Andrew Marty had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: despite one touchdown, he threw three interceptions.
Meanwhile, when you finish with 374 more yards than your opponent like Wisconsin did last week, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They steamrolled past the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 52-3 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-3. It was another big night for Wisconsin’s RB Braelon Allen, who rushed for one TD and 129 yards on 15 carries.
