The NBA has descended on Cleveland this weekend for the 71st edition of the All-Star Game.
The festivities began Friday night with a celebrity game and the Rising Stars Challenge, which featured the league’s best young players and prospects going head-to-head in a new mini-tournament format.
The fun continues with NBA All-Star Saturday Night, the annual showcase that is always one of the highlights of the weekend. The stars will be out to see the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and Dunk Contest. DJ Khaled is scheduled to perform with guests Migos, Gunna, Mary J. Blige and Lil Baby.
The Skills Challenge has a slightly new format this year. Rather than players competing against each other individually, the event will feature three teams of three players in a test of their dribbling, passing and shooting skills. Team Antetokounmpo will feature brothers Giannis, Thanasis and Alex Antetokounmpo. The hometown Team Cavs will have Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Team Rooks will consist of first-year players Scottie Barnes, Cade Cunningham and Josh Giddey.
